It was introduced by the related person of Chongqing intellectual property rights office that, national intellectual property rights office has implement the work of establishing the demonstration departments of the first of 70 units national enterprises intellectual property rights from 2007 to 2009. The aim is to improve the creativity, exertion, protection and management of the national enterprises. Lifan, as one of the 57 units enterprises have been appraised as “demonstration departments of national enterprises intellectual property rights”.

National enterprises and intellectual property rights meet and patent application and industrialization meeting were held in Haikou on 10th, December. Lifan, with its rational management of intellectual property of its institutional arrangements, a sound intellectual property management system construction, and efficient operation mechanism of intellectual property rights to set up and excellent results, accessed to the first "national enterprises and intellectual property rights model units" title. Lifan is the only enterprise in Chongqing, as well as in motorcycle industry field.

Lifan Group is one of the demonstration departments of the first of 70 units national enterprises intellectual property rights from 2007 to 2009. On September 26 passed the State Intellectual Property Office of the acceptance of the Expert Group on-site strictly reply, later became the first "national enterprises and model intellectual property unit". There are also short-listed Shenzhen Huawei, Tsinghua University in Beijing and other 56 well-known enterprises and institutions nationwide.
